James Blake — Director of Admissions
James Blake is an Admissions and Recruitment Specialist with extensive experience in both secondary and post-secondary education. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships with families and prospective students, helping them navigate their academic pathways with confidence and clarity.
Over the years, James has gained a deep understanding of how educational institutions can effectively connect with diverse audiences and communities around the world. His background in admissions has shaped his philosophy that every challenge is an opportunity waiting to be discovered — a belief that continues to guide his leadership at Sauder Academy.
Iqbal Parekh is the Director of Global Admissions and External Relations of Sauder Academy. He is a graduate of BCIT and has extensive experience working at premium K-12 and post-secondary institutions. He speaks multiple languages and has conducted recruitment missions to over 40 countries. He has the ability to develop deep relationships with families who have entrusted him with giving them objective advice to enhance the educational development of their children.
Helen Suen is the Enrollment Manager for the Asia market at Sauder Academy, where she supports students and families in exploring flexible pathways to global universities through the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
A graduate of the University of Toronto with many years of experience in education, Helen is dedicated to helping students find the right academic pathway based on their goals, strengths, and aspirations. She works closely with families across Asia, providing personalized guidance on admissions, program selection, and the advantages of an Ontario education delivered through Sauder Academy’s flexible online learning model.
With a strong understanding of both student needs and parent expectations, Helen plays an important role in connecting international families with Sauder Academy’s high-quality Ontario education experience. Her student-centered approach reflects the school’s mission of empowering learners with flexible, supportive, and internationally recognized pathways to future success.
Stacey Sit is a highly experienced education professional with a strong international background in academic mentoring, student counselling, and strategic education development. She brings a unique combination of high-level policy insight and hands-on teaching experience, enabling her to guide students toward meaningful academic and life success.
Prior to joining Sauder Academy, Stacey served as Head of Training and Health Economy at the British Consulate General, where she led initiatives related to education, training, and international collaboration. This role provided her with a comprehensive understanding of global education systems and the skills needed to support students navigating international academic pathways.
Stacey graduated with Bachelor of Science with First-Class Honours in Mathematics & Financial Management from King’s College London. She also completed her secondary education at American International School in Hong Kong, achieving Level 6 in AP Calculus BC, Economics, and Psychology, reflecting her strong academic foundation.
With over eight years of private tutoring and academic mentoring experience, Stacey specializes in personalized one-to-one teaching, helping students build strong academic skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence. Her mentoring approach focuses not only on academic excellence but also on long-term student development, including university planning and life strategy.
At Sauder Academy, Stacey works closely with students and families to provide individualized academic guidance, tutoring support, and strategic university pathway planning, ensuring that every student is equipped to achieve their educational goals and succeed in a global academic environment.
Dr. Jude Wai Chung Koo serves as the Director of Marketing (Taiwan) at Sauder Academy, where he supports the school’s international development initiatives and academic outreach across Taiwan and the Greater China region.
Dr. Koo brings a multidisciplinary academic background that combines business, economics, healthcare, and international education. He is currently pursuing Executive MBA studies at both Fudan University and National Taiwan University, reflecting his strong interest in global management, leadership, and educational innovation.
He also studied Economics through the international programme of London School of Economics and Political Science and completed legal studies through the University of London External Programme. In addition, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from China Medical University.
Throughout his academic and professional journey, Dr. Koo has maintained a strong connection to teaching, research, and student development. During his university years, he served as a teaching assistant in clinical and laboratory courses at China Medical University and participated in interdisciplinary research projects involving psychology, neuroscience, and pharmacology.
Dr. Koo’s international exposure and cross-disciplinary experience provide him with a unique perspective on global education and student engagement. At Sauder Academy, he works closely with families, educational partners, and students in Taiwan to promote flexible Canadian education pathways and support students pursuing international academic opportunities.
His commitment to lifelong learning, leadership development, and international collaboration aligns strongly with Sauder Academy’s mission of delivering innovative and globally accessible education.
Ken Ng is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sauder Academy, an Ontario-inspected private high school authorized to grant credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Since founding Sauder Academy in 2023, Ken has led the school’s mission to provide high-quality, innovative, and globally accessible Canadian secondary education for students around the world.
Ken has extensive experience in international education, student recruitment, school operations, and cross-border academic pathway development. Since 2003, he has helped thousands of students pursue studies abroad at prestigious universities and high schools worldwide. He is also the Managing Director of International Student Services Center Corporation Limited (ISSCC) in Hong Kong, a well-established education consultancy founded in 2003, which works closely with Sauder Academy to support international students and families.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. He also completed a Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE) at the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom. In addition, he completed the Rapid Teacher Training Programme on Distance, Open and Online Learning, a course of study offered by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Fluent in both English and Chinese, Ken is able to work effectively with students, parents, educators, agents, and institutional partners across different cultural and educational systems. Under his leadership, Sauder Academy has expanded its academic offerings, strengthened its compliance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards, invested in digital learning platforms and AI-enhanced education initiatives, and developed international partnerships to support student success.
