Flexible Pathways To Global Universities
This course enables students to develop an understanding of nutrition and health and the factors that influence well-being. Students will examine nutritional needs throughout the lifespan, analyze relationships among nutrition, physical activity, and health, and evaluate information related to food, diet, and health issues. Students will apply inquiry and research skills to investigate current issues in nutrition and health and will develop strategies to make informed choices that support personal and community well-being. Prerequisite: Any university or university/college preparation course in social sciences and humanities, English, or Canadian and world studies.
