This course develops students’ understanding of the basic concepts of physics through the study of kinematics (linear motion), forces, energy transformations, mechanical waves and sound, and electricity and magnetism. Students enhance scientific investigation skills by testing laws of physics, analyse connections between physics and technology, and consider impacts of technological applications on society and the environment. Prerequisite: Grade 10 Science, Academic.
