This course develops students’ English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for success in school and daily life. Students will build vocabulary and language structures and will learn strategies to understand and communicate ideas in a variety of social and academic contexts. Students will also develop study skills and cultural knowledge to support integration into the Ontario secondary school environment. Prerequisite: Placement according to level of proficiency.
