Are the five live teaching hours included per week or per course?
Each course includes five hours of one-to-one live lessons in total, alongside online coursework and teacher feedback. Our team can discuss how these sessions fit into your course plan.
Can I arrange additional one-to-one lessons or tutoring?
Yes. Additional support is available for students who would benefit from further guidance. Additional fees apply and are explained before sessions are arranged.
Do I have to start in September?
No. Sauder Academy offers start dates throughout the year. The timeline above is one example; your schedule will be planned around your academic background, course requirements, and goals.
Will every student complete seven courses in eight months?
No. This is a sample plan for a student whose academic review confirms a seven-course pathway. Course requirements, prerequisites, progress, and English-language support needs can affect the number of courses and time required.
How will my work be assessed?
Students complete coursework and a final evaluation according to each course’s assessment requirements. Teachers provide feedback to help students understand their progress. Review your course information and contact your teacher if you need clarification.
Does completing the courses automatically mean I receive the OSSD?
To receive the OSSD, students must meet all applicable diploma requirements, including any remaining requirements identified during their academic review. Our team can help clarify what you need to complete.
