This course develops media arts skills through producing works using traditional and emerging technologies, tools, and techniques such as new media, computer animation, and web environments. Students explore media arts as an extension of traditional art forms, apply the creative process to produce effective media artworks, critically analyse unique characteristics of the art form, and examine how media artists shape audience perceptions of identity, culture, and values. Prerequisite: Media Arts, Grade 10, Open.
