This course emphasizes literacy, communication, and critical and creative thinking skills for success in academic and daily life. Students analyse challenging literary texts from various periods, countries, and cultures, along with informational and graphic texts, and create oral, written, and media texts in a range of forms, with a focus on precise, clear language and effective use of stylistic devices, preparing students for the compulsory Grade 12 university or college preparation English course. Prerequisite: Grade 10 English, Academic.
