This course develops students’ understanding of Earth and space science. Students will investigate the properties of matter and energy in the universe; the formation and evolution of the solar system and the universe; geological processes and Earth’s history; and Earth systems and climate. Students will develop scientific investigation skills and analyze the impact of human activity and technology on Earth systems and on society. Prerequisite: Any Grade 11 university or university/college preparation course in science.
